Adamera's Oversight Project Presented at Geological Society of America Technical Session
Vancouver, BC, October 21, 2014 -- Adamera Minerals Corp. (TSX V: ADZ) reports that a technical presentation at the Geological Society of America conference in Vancouver BC on Adamera's Oversight Project and the adjacent past producing Echo Bay Overlook deposit in Washington State will be presented by Michael Rasmussen, Ph.D on Tuesday, October 21, at 3:30 pm (session T90) entitled: 'Will Oversight Correct an 'Overlooked' Structural Model and Economic Potential at Republic, WA?'.
Dr. Rasmussen held various senior exploration positions with Echo Bay Mines Ltd., and the Kinross Gold Corporation working and consulting on the Overlook deposit and other deposits in the area. He completed his Doctorate on the Overlook deposit and is an expert in his field of study.
Dr. Rasmussen will also be presenting on the Oversight project and Overlook deposit during the Minerals South Conference in Nelson BC, November 4-6th.
"We have been fortunate to have Dr. Rasmussen consulting with us on the Oversight project. His first-hand knowledge and experience on the past-producing Overlook deposit has been helpful in defining our geological model for Oversight," says Mark Kolebaba, President and CEO of Adamera Minerals Corp.
The Oversight deposit is thought to be part of a very significant gold bearing system that has hosted 4 gold mines. At the adjacent Overlook Mine, located within 100 metres to the west boundary of Oversight, gold occurs in two ore zones: a massive magnetite/sulfide zone and a stockwork zone. Overlook reportedly produced 280,000 ounces at 5.5 g/t gold.
Adamera is exploring for high-grade gold near an operating mill in Washington State owned by Kinross Gold Corp. The mill is reported to be operating at half capacity with ore shipped 70 kilometres from the 1.3 million ounce Buckhorn mine. The Buckhorn mine is a high-grade, low-cost producer with only 1 year mine life remaining. Adamera is currently exploring five projects with high-grade gold potential within hauling distance of the Mill.
On behalf of the Board of Directors,
Mark Kolebaba
President & CEO
